Research an artist or art gallery - your choice! You will use your sketch book to recreate an artist's masterpiece or create a drawing of the gallery. On the left hand side of your page, you will draw a line 10cm from the edge so you have a small section for writing some information. The following information is to be collected and recorded on your page, and the complete your drawing:
Artist - name, age (or date of birth/death), nationality, style of artist (eg: Impressionist), the name of one of their famous pieces, and if possible, where some of their work is currently exhibited.
Art Gallery - name, date of construction, location (which city and country it is in), at least 3 famous artists who have their work exhibited there.
After this information has been written on your page, you will then draw a picture of the building or recreate the masterpiece. This drawing is to be replicated to the best of your abilities - we suggest you use greylead first, then use coloured pencils (not textas) to colour it in. Fineliner would also enhance your drawing.
